Dear Rishabh Sharma, Thank you for the question
Atta/ flour made from wheat, millets (Ragi, Jowar, bajra) or multigrain atta can be consumed or taken in the diet throughout the year irrespective of the climate change as these cereals have essential nutrients like complex carbohydrates, fiber, protein, essential fatty acids (PUFA). Important micronutrients like vitamins, especially many B vitamins (Thiamine & Riboflavin), minerals, antioxidants, and phyto-chemicals.
However, barley is said to have a cooling effect on the body therefore consuming barley flour can be beneficial as it contains essential nutrients like phosphorus, calcium, and iron. It has various health benefits like maintaining the sugar levels in diabetic patients, it is good to maintain the urinary tract system etc. You can include it as a part of your daily balanced diet.
Rice has high water content and is easily digested. It is rich in iron and vitamin B complex and is a good source of healthy carbohydrates. You can include rice flour in your diet or rice as such. You can opt for unpolished rice and brown rice as they contain good amount of fibre.
Some pulses like moong and black channa also have a cooling effect on the body and have essential nutrients like protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, Magnesium which can be included in the diet on regular basis.
Hope we have answered your query.
Wishing you a great day ahead
