You can include tomatoes in the form of a salad, juice, puree, sabji etc as a part of your daily balanced diet due to their antioxidant properties and biochemical compounds present in them. Any food/ ingredient consumed as a part of a daily balanced diet should be consumed in adequate quantities.
Tomatoes are a good source of phytochemicals and nutrients such as lycopene, potassium, iron, folate, and vitamin C, tomatoes contain other antioxidants, such as beta-carotene, and phenolic compounds, such as flavonoids, hydroxycinnamic acid, chlorogenic, homovanillic acid, and ferulic acid.
