You can include Cumin/Jeera in the form of a jeera water, Jeera powder, oil  etc as a part of your daily balanced diet due to their antioxidant properties and biochemical compounds present in them.

Cumin seeds are nutritionally rich as they contain protein, dietary fibre, Vitamins B and E iron, manganese, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, copper, zinc and potassium, MUFA (monounsaturated fatty acids). Cumin contains some important components such as pinene, cymene, terpinene, cuminaldehyde, oleoresin, thymol and others that have potential beneficial properties..

Some of the health benefits of Cumin/ Jeera  in the diet

  • Help in maintaining the sugar levels and may have antidiabetic properties
  • Aid in digestion and prevent indigestion
