Dear SWETHA, Thank you for the question
Physical growth and development of an individual involves various factors like Genetics, Gender, Nutrition etc.
During infancy there is rapid growth and development therefor dietary adaptation is required. As your child is an Infant, exclusive breastfeeding should be provided for 6months, further which along with breastfeeding supplementary foods can be given to meet the energy requirements and necessary nutrients required for growth and development.
According to WHO growth standard your baby girl is on the 15th percentile (weight for age) which can be considered normal.
We request you to kindly contact your healthcare professional such as a pediatrician for further assistance and management with respect to baby’s height, BMI and overall health.
Here are few tips to be considered when introducing weaning foods
For the mother Galactogogues or lactogogue increase the prolactin secretion which in turn increase milk production foods like garlic, milk, almonds, Green leafy vegetables as they stimulate the production and Secretion of Breast milk.
Hope we have answered your query.
Wishing you a great day ahead.
