Dear fayaz shaik, Thank you for the question
Weight gain or weight loss entirely does not depend on one particular food, ingredient or cuisine it involves multiple factors such as Dietary intake, lifestyle pattern, metabolic conditions, genetics, stress etc.
Brown Rice & wheat Chapati can be included as a part of your daily balanced diet, it is a source of complex carbohydrate and B Vitamins that helps provide energy. As with any other food, rice and chapathi both must also be consumed mindfully along with portion control. If you have been only consuming chapati made of wheat you can also try including jowar chapati, ragi chapati, Bajra chapati or Multigrain roti which consists of two or more grains that are mixed or used in preparation & development of a particular product to enhance the nutritive value of the product or dish. They are good sources of dietary fiber that may help provide satiety, and support digestive health.
According to ICMR (Indian Counsil of medical research) wheat roti has 320Kcal/ 100g and brown rice contains 353 kcal/100g
You can consume both Chapathi & brown rice as a part of your daily balanced diet however it is necessary to be mindful and practice portion control to maintain the daily calorie limit.
Sustainable weight management requires a holistic approach which involves lifestyle management which includes Dietary modification, Physical activity, hydration, and stress management. With any weight loss plan changes take time to reflect as your body requires sufficient time to adapt to the changes in order to show results.
An ideal weight loss meal plan should include calorie deficit diet with appropriate exercise regime followed under professional guidance.
