Are the BCAAs in whey protein and creatine monohydrate safe for the heart?

Dear Abhay Vishwakarma, Thank you for the question
Excess and/or unsupervised intake of nutritional supplements is not considered safe for overall health.
Branched-chain amino acids are essential for normal growth and function at the cellular and organ levels. Plasma values of branched-chain amino acids (BCAA), leucine, isoleucine, and valine, are frequently found in high concentrations in individuals with CVD risk
Scientific evidence suggests that excess intake of BCAA can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.
According to a research, elevated concentrations of each or total BCAA were found in individuals with cardiovascular risk factors, such as high fasting blood glucose, dyslipidaemia, or increased serum atherosclerosis index (ratio between serum triglycerides and high-density lipoproteins [HDL]), individuals with metabolic syndrome risk, or in healthy individuals, independently of their BMI.
According to another study it was found that creatine supplementation affected cardiovascular functions.
Supplements and Nutraceuticals can be included as apart of daily balanced diet, but the frequency and quantity of consumption must be followed/ practised under medical supervision and label instructions so as to avoid any negative implications. Hope we have answered your query.
Wishing you a great day ahead.
